How to make the animation

How to make the animation
First open “Cryptic AR”. “Cryptic AR” will provide you with the model which we are going to animatate. Each part of the model constists of serparte pieces which have been put together in a simular way to an imposable figure. To make the animation we are going to move and rotate the parts in each keyframe. Set the Frame range form 0 to 30.

On Frame zero move the right leg forward using the move tool then set a key frame. Then, while still on frame zero, move the left leg back using the move tool.

Now go onto frame 15 and by using the move tool, move the right leg back and set a key frame. Then move the left leg forward and set a key frame. Play the animation and you will see him moving as if he’s sliding.

Now go back to frame 0 and by using the rotate tool, rotate the left arm upwards. In the same way a person moves, the left arm moves upwards when the right leg moves forward. When finished set a key frame.

On frame 0, using the rotate tool move the right arm back and set a key frame. This is in a similar fashion to when a person moves their right leg forward they move their right arm back. After go onto frame 15 and reverse the positions of the arms. Play the animation, he will still look as though he is sliding but he will look more fluid.

Now go onto frame 3 and using the rotate tool select the left foot and rotate it so it points downward by only a sight amount, after set a key frame.

Stay on frame 3 and using the move tool select the left leg and move it upwards so it bends as shown in the image below, After set a key frame in frame 3.

Now go on frame 30 and by using the move tool move the right leg forward and move the left leg back. Set a key frame.

On frame 30, using the rotate tool, rotate the right arm back and rotate the left arm forward. Set a key frame.

Now go onto frame 18. Using the rotate tool, rotate the right foot so it points downwards just slightly. Set a key frame.

On frame 18, using the move tool, move the right leg so it bends slightly as shown in the image below. Set a key frame.

On frame 0, using the rotate tool, move the head so it tilts up slightly the same as the image below. Set a key frame. Repeat for frames 15 and 30.

On frame 7, using the rotate tool, rotate the head so it faces downward by a slight amount. Set a key frame. Do the same on frame 22.

On frame 7, using the rotate tool select the chest and rotate it so the left side points upward. Set a key frame. When people walk their whole body moves in some sort of way.

Go onto frame 22 and by using the rotate tool, rotate the chest so the right side faces upwards. Set a key frame.

Go onto top view on frame 0 and select the chest. Using the rotate tool, rotate the chest, so the right side is forward. Set a key frame. Do the same on frame 30.

Go onto frame 15 and using the rotate tool, rotate the chest so the left side is forward. Set a key frame.

Go onto frame 7 and rotate the lower right arm so it points upwards slight. Set a key frame.

Repeat on frame 0.

Also repeat on frame 22.

When finished, repeat as with the lower right arm, with the lower left arm.

On frames 0, 15 and 30, using the rotate tool, rotate the pelvis so the man is facing downwards slightly. Every time we move, our torso goes to and fro. Remember to set key frames.

On frames 7 and 22, using the rotate tool, rotate the pelvis upwards slightly. Remember to set key frames.

On frames 0, 15 and 30, using the rotate tool, on frame 0 and frame 30 rotate the pelvis slightly to the right side. On frame 15 rotate the pelvis to the left side. Remember to set key frames.

On frames 0, 15 and 30, using rotate the right hand up slightly. On frames 7 and 22, rotate the left hand slightly upwards.

Now the animation is finished.
